How does The Liquidity Reserve Account satisfy the needs of CFO's, treasurers and international investors in today’s market place for safety and liquidity? It all starts with a discipline of No Credit Risk. The Liquidity Reserve Account will only invest in direct obligations of the United States Government. its agencies, or instrumentalities. It would take an act of Congress and the signature of the President to delay any of our payments.
A significant percentage of The Liquidity Reserve Account assets will be invested in laddered 90-Day T-Bills and other short-term investments guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States.
The balance of the investments in The Liquidity Reserve Account will be in a proprietary Agency Securities Investment Program whose timely payment of principal and interest is guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. The United States Government and Agency markets are among the largest and most liquid in the world.
Our strategic allocation between the asset classes is designed to produce targeted returns, while at the same time minimizing volatility. Your Liquidity Reserve Account is not a money market account. You own all the assets in your account. Depending on your need for liquidity, your assets can be liquidated in three days or less.
